Good Life, Good Death, Good Grief is working to make Scotland a place where people can help each other through the difficult times that come with death, dying and bereavement.
Established in 1991, the Natural Death Centre is a charity that gives free, impartial advice on all aspects of dying, bereavement and consumer rights. They give support for family-organised and environmentally friendly funerals, publish the Natural Death Handbook, and run the Association of Natural Burial Grounds.
Pushing up the Daisies. A charity providing very useful information and support on the options around death:
Our aim is for everyone in Scotland to know their practical options and legal rights immediately after someone dies, and to be able to take charge of and spend time with them in the place of their choice if that is their wish.
The Reluctant Planner’s Guide to Death and Dying. Robert Peacock, Development Manager at Good Life Good Death Good Grief wrote this this blog to explain how he went about getting his affairs in order. He sought advice on what to do and when and how, and then did something about it, all the while hoping that none of it would be needed for some time yet.
