Day 8: The change I’d like to see in the world
Oh, there are so many things I could say here! Anything and everything that helps humans change from being motivated by greed and fear, and more towards loving and caring, justice and peace, and helping preserve our delicate, lovely world.
This image is from a protest at the Trident nuclear submarine base at Faslane, 30 miles north of Glasgow. This is an unholy place where weapons that could wipe out all of human life are being made ready.
The banner reminds me that our actions for peace are motivated by love! It was made for a singing protest organised by Protest in Harmony, the radical singing group that I’m part of. We’ve sung there many times in witness that we choose life, not preparation for mass destruction.
